Network Support Engineers

We are looking for Network support engineers to provide enterprise-level expertise and support to our infrastructure. Ultimately, you will be a person of our infrastructure team's trust. We will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems and scalability.

What You Will Do

  • Work alongside our infrastructure team to install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot network devices and related monitoring tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Track issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal and external teams
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several issues at one time
  • Document technical knowledge
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time to minimize any disruption to the client and internal systems
  • Liaise with other team members for projects or ongoing support
  • Provide remote or onsite support as required

Desired Capabilities:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices – specifically but not limited to:
    1. Cisco & HP Switches and Routers
    2. Cisco Wireless Controller & Access Points.
    3. Cisco ASA
    4. F5 load balancers
  • Setting up NAT, PAT, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANS, HSRP, Route Maps, WAN optimization, and SLA monitoring.
  • Supporting the network and data centre operations within the desired SLA
  • Experience in:
    1. Remote Access: Console routers, IPMI, BMC, ILO, Terminal Servers, Idrac
    2. Redundancy: Power feeds, Server and Storage Hardware, RAID.
    3. Google Cloud & AWS: Configure, deploy, monitor Google Cloud Infrastructure consisting of network architecture, application security, identity and access management.
  • Ability to diagnose & analyse complex networking problems
  • CCNP or CCNA certification will be considered a plus
  • VoIP knowledge and experience will be considered a plus
